Come share a meal with Chef Yap
Chef Yap was born and raised in New Orleans with a passion and drive for cooking, and he is no stranger to addiction and the struggles of life. These struggles are what led him to Positive Direction. A proud alumnus, Chef Yap now enjoys his time preparing food and enriching the lives of the men daily. Yap continues to be a positive role model to all the men coming in to show them what an amazing program we offer and what they can all achieve if they are willing.
“Positive Direction is an awesome place if you let go and want it. It can change your life; I’m a prime example.” -Chef Yap
